Super Smash Bros Advance is a game planned to be released on the Japanese GameBoy Advance in October 2002, and in the United States in December 2002, it is supposed to be the third game in the Super Smash Bros series and the first game in the Smash series. to launch on a portable console.

Plot[]

It would be the same plot of any Super Smash Bros game, but with new characters, new scenarios and now in 2D.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

  1. Making a 2D Super Smash Bros cost a lot, so it ended up tiring the programmers.
  2. The one who made the sounds of the game, was sick with a cough during the production.
  3. The title screen was never made.
  4. Nintendo could not store the 2D graphics due to technical problems.
  5. Super Smash Bros Melee had poor sales, despite receiving positive reviews.

Results[]

  1. Super Smash Bros Advance was permanently cancelled.
  2. Nintendo made Super Smash Bros Brawl, which is what ended up being the third game in the series.
  3. The Super Smash Bros saga finally released a portable game for Nintendo 3DS in 2014, and another in 2018 for Nintendo Switch called Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
