Starfield is a first and third person action RPG shooter developed by Bethesda Game Studios (Skyrim, Fallout 4) and published by Bethesda Softworks and Xbox Game Studios for the Xbox Series X|S and Windows. It was released on September 5th, 2023. It was reported that during development prior to the Microsoft acquisition, the game was also planned for the PlayStation 5 as well, but shortly after Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft in 2021, the PS5 version was instantly cancelled.

- Bethesda and its parent company Zenimax were acquired by Microsoft in March of 2021, and going forward all future Bethesda titles will become Xbox exclusives, thus no more Bethesda games will see a PlayStation release.
