The Nintendo Wii version of Sonic Free Riders was planned but cancelled.
The game will make the controls better, the graphics more beautiful, and the whole game playable.

- The XBOX 360 version sold so poorly, and received a negative reception mostly due to the unresponsive controls.

The game isn't reworked into a different title but Team Sonic Racing was released for the Nintendo Switch.
