Shrek PS2

Somebody once told me this version was cancelled, it ain't the sharpest version in the shed. It was looking unknown like the Virtual Boy port of Virtual Bart and was not sell in the stores or even developed or released.

Shrek is a 2001 platforming video game developed by DICE and published by TDK Mediactive. The game is based on the 2001 movie of the same name and was a launch title for Microsoft's Xbox. A year later, it was ported to the Nintendo GameCube under the name Shrek Extra Large, but with new levels. A port for the PlayStation 2 was planned for 2003, but was cancelled.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

TDK Mediactive was acquired by Take-Two Interactive on December 2, 2003, as a result losing the rights for Shrek games.

Result[]

Since TDK Mediactive was acquired by Take-Two Interactive on December 2, 2003, the PS2 version of Shrek was cancelled, and we got only the Xbox and the GameCube versions.
