Sega Smash Pack Volume 2, not to get confused with Sega Smash Pack 2 (PC), is a cancelled collection for the Sega Dreamcast. Although no development was made planned for it, Sega Smash Pack Volume 1 does hint the matter.
Planned Games[]
Although there is no proof of what games were going to be on this collection, it's possible that some from the Sega Smash Pack 2 (PC) would be in this collection. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (16-bit) and Vectorman 2 were both most likely considered for this title.
Why it was Cancelled[]
- The first game was originally released as pack in title for the Dreamcast and wasn't released as in individual title until April 2001.
- The Dreamcast was discontinued due to it's low sales of the fifth generation of consoles market at the time, being the Playstation 2, Gamecube, and Xbox. This would make a sequel unlikely to happen.
Results[]
- The sequel was never developed.
- Sega Smash Pack 2 released for the PC.
