Cancelled Games Wiki

Pocoyo Eye Circuits (or Pocoyo Circuits) was going to be a 3D augmented-reality kart-racing game developed and published by Zinkia Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in Spring of 2012. However, it ended up getting cancelled for an unknown reason.

Judging by the logo and the prototype images, the game was most likely going to be a sequel/successor to the 2011 Wii/DS game, Pocoyo Racing.

The Xbox 360 version was probably going to use the Kinect for the AR features, and the PS3 version would use the PlayStation Eye camera, which is probably the reason why the game is called Pocoyo Eye Circuits. The PC version would probably use your computer's built-in/external camera for the AR.

Why It Was Cancelled[]

It is unknown why the game the game was cancelled, but it's probably because there was also a Pocoyo movie in production at the time in 2007, which was announced on the official Pocoyo blog site in that year, and they probably didn't feel like working on both at the same time, and one of the designers for the game (who also worked on Hello, Pocoyo! and Pocoyo Racing for the Nintendo DS) doesn't work at Zinkia anymore.
