Nightmare Creatures 3: Angel of Darkness was to be a Action-Horror game that was originally planned for Spring of 2003 release. It would've been developed by Kalisto Entertainment and this time around be published by Ubisoft and was targeting PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Original Xbox. Spring 2003 came and went with no news, it was reported that a Ubisoft team took over development and was now planned for a 2004 release, but it since missed the year release date and no further news came about since. It was likely quietly cancelled.
Plot/Goal[]
In the original concept for the game, it would've took place in 19th century Prague, Czechia, set many years after the events of Nightmare Creatures II, it is centered about a heroine who can merge with her pet raven and transform into a monster during the night and battle various hordes of Adam Crowley's creatures.
Why it got cancelled?[]
- Original developer of this game Kalisto Entertainment went bankrupt & ultimately closed down in end of 2002.
- Ubisoft most likely lost all further interest developing this game and has quietly shelved it since.
Result(s)[]
Nightmare Creatures 3 never saw the light of day and pretty much only survived through various concept art pieces.
The series concluded with Nightmare Creatures II.
