NBA Jam is a 2003 Basketball game developed by Acclaim Studios Austin (formerly Iguana Entertainment) and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. There was also go be a GameCube version of this game as well, but was quietly cancelled.
Why was it cancelled?[]
Following the poor GameCube sales of other Acclaim games released on that platform, in June of 2003, Acclaim announced they've pretty much dropped all support for the GameCube because of the said low sales, instantly cancelling all GameCube versions of their titles going forward from there on including this one.
Results[]
The GameCube version was permanently scrapped.
We only got PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of this game.
