NBA Hoopz 20-02 is a proposed follow-up/update to NBA Hoopz made by Midway for PS2, GameCube and X-Box formats for the 2001-02 basketball season. It never got off the ground.
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- Midway was too busy obtaining the NHL license for NHL Hitz 20-02.
- It was axed for more better sports titles like RedCard, MLB Slugfest and NHL Hitz.
- The NBA had no interest in making the game.
Results[]
The follow-up/update was permanently cancelled. Midway tried their NBA games again with NBA Ballers.
