Originally, if you locked on Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic The Hedgehog together, you would get Knuckles in Sonic The Hedgehog 1 (Mega Drive/Sega Genesis version).
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- The color palette is wrong.
- There are some bugs and glitches.

- Knuckles in Sonic 1 was cancelled.
- Stealth made a ROM hack based on this game.
- No Way Blue Spheres game was created if you locked in Sonic 1 with Sonic & Knuckles.
- Knuckles became playable in the 2013 mobile remake of Sonic the Hedgheog 1.
