Kirby's Dream Land 5 is a planned side-scrolling platformer Kirby game developed by HAL Laboratory and Flagship and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Gamecube. Kirby's Dream Land 5 is in place of Kirby GCN, and the direct sequel to Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. However, much like Kirby GCN, Nintendo did not reach the quality of the game.
