Haven: Call of the King is a 2002 multi-genre Action-Adventure game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Midway Games for the PlayStation 2. This game was also planned for release on Xbox, GameCube, and Game Boy Advance with the former two to be published by Xicat Interactive, however all three of those planned ports were cancelled.

Why were they cancelled?[]

  • Game Boy Advance version never got beyond the earliest developmental stages.
  • Xbox and GameCube versions were cancelled because the initial PS2 version sold poorly, despite mixed reviews.

Result[]

Since Xbox, GameCube, and GBA versions were all cancelled, Haven: Call of the King ended up being a PS2-exclusive game at this point.

Trivia[]

As of result of the commercial failure of the first game, the planned two sequels would also be cancelled, making this a standalone game at this point.
