In 2003, a few years after the cult game Conker's Bad Fur Day was released, Rareware announced that a tie-in game for the GameCube called Conker's Other Bad Day was in development. Chris Seavor stated in interviews on what the game was going to be about. The plot would have Conker's having an unsuccessful reign as king, spending too much royal treasure on alcohol and hookers disappointing his supporters.
In the year of 2002, Rareware was bought out by Microsoft and decided to cease production on the game and release the game and rebooted Conker's Bad Fur Day with Conker Live and Conker Reloaded. The only pieces of evidence that exist for this game are concept art of the Tower and various old interviews are saved to preserve the game's existence. No footage of any gameplay has been found. [1]
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- As of right now, the reason the game was cancelled is because Rareware was brought out by Microsoft in 2002 ( as mentioned earlier).
- It has been said that Microsoft was not as interesting in making a new Conker game as Rareware was.
Results[]
