Charlie Brown's All-Stars is a cancelled baseball video game based on the Peanuts franchise. The game was being developed by FarSight Studios and was to be published by Namco Bandai Games for the PlayStation 2 PlayStation Portable, Xbox, and Wii. it was announced in 2007 but got cancelled the same year.
Plot[]
After losing yet another baseball game, Charlie Brown meets his friend Linus, who introduces him to Mr. Hennessey, who owns a hardware store and is willing to help Charlie Brown and his team finally win a game.
Feature[]
The game would have featured over 70 playable Peanuts characters (initially 30 were announced). It would have also had four party games: contests of batting, fielding, and pitching, along with a Simon Says-type game called "Lucy Says".
Why it was Cancelled[]
- FarSight got involved with too many projects and not having enough staff to work on Charlie Brown's All-Stars.
