Ben 10: Protector of Earth and Ben 10: Alien Force were planned GBA ports of the console games. Protector of Earth was supposed to be released on December 2007 and Alien Force was supposed to be released on November 2008.
Gameplay[]
Currently, we have no screenshots of the gameplay and the back of the boxes but they would probably play similarly to the DS ports. Protector of Earth could possibly be an enhanced port of the Hyperscan game. They were going to be developed by 1st Playable Productions and published by D3. Judging by the covers, you could probably play as Ben and Heatblast in Protector of Earth and Ben, Swampfire, Gwen and Kevin 11 in Alien Force. The stories would probably follow the console versions stories.
Why they were cancelled[]
- The GBA was not that popular when the console versions came out.
- They probably didn't know how to figure out the alien switching mechanic.
- The DS ports were more popular.
- In Alien Force's case, the last GBA game was released in February 2008.
- The limited hardware would probably make the game have less than 10 aliens in both games.
Results[]
- The games were cancelled but both of the games were released on the DS. Ben 10 Alien Force Vilgax Attacks, Cosmic Destruction, Galactic Racing and Omniverse 1 were released on the DS, Galactic Racing, Omniverse 1 and 2 were released on the 3DS and the reboot game and Power Trip were released on the Switch.
