Banjo-Threeie is a cancelled video game that was developed by a British video game developer Rare and was initially going to be published by Nintendo, and later Microsoft Studios (Microsoft Game Studios at the time). The game was going to be the third installment in the Banjo-Kazooie franchise. It was initially developed for the Nintendo GameCube, and later due to Microsoft's purchase of Rare.

Although it should be noted that the third sequel is definitely Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts , it was planned to give it the title Threeie , announcing it almost at the end of the second sequel, before Gruntilda was defeated. In the year 2000, Nintendo confirmed that the adventures of the bear , the bird and the mumbo would come back , so the mention was also made that the witch Gruntilda would reappear in one of her last and greatest battles, saying of it would be a great job for the Rare companyand the saga.
Plot/Synopsis[]
Although almost nothing is known about the game, it could be deduced that after Gruntilda's defeat, his minions would exact revenge against Banjo and Kazooie, pursued by a horde of enemies, this was previously shown in a small demo trailer.
Why It Was Cancelled[]
- The only known reason why the game was cancelled is The company Rareware was bought out by Microsoft for $375 million.
